Final Four Ratings Highest Since 2005

Final Four Ratings Highest Since 2005

CBS Sports and Turner Sports' coverage of the Final Four on Saturday earned an average fast national household rating/share of 9.0/17, the highest average for the Final Four since 2005.

The bad news: That means plenty of people saw CBS miss the final seconds of Kansas's win over Ohio State because it was showing a replay. The game had a 9.6/17 household rating/share.

Kentucky's win over Louisville, meanwhile, had an 8.4/17 rating.

The 2005 Final Four games between Illnois-Louisville and North Carolina-Michigan State averaged 10.5/19.

The high ratings for this year's games bode well for the NCAA men's basketball championship game, airing tonight at 9/8c on CBS.
