Here's a bit of "Game of Thrones" trivia you might not be aware of: Alfie Allen, who plays Theon Greyjoy on the show, is the brother of U.K. pop sensation Lily Allen. In fact, Lily wrote a song about her brother for her 2006 album, the chiding track "Alfie." In the song, Lily called out her brother for being lazy, doing too many drugs, and lacking ambition.
Flash forward to a few years later, and Alfie's on a hit TV show! It's hard to say whether "Alfie" inspired Alfie to clean up his act and get a good job, but it may well have been a contributing factor.
Alife and Lily Allen aren't the only pair of siblings who both achieved fame in their own right. Here are some other TV stars who have famous siblings of their own.
Hallie Kate EisenbergYou've seen her on TV in: Pepsi commercials, the 2000 TV movie "The Miracle Worker"
Famous sibling: Jesse Eisenberg, star of "The Social Network" and "Zombieland"
While Hallie Kate might have been the more famous Eisenberg sibling in decades past, older brother Jesse is now having his time in the sun. Jesse has also done TV work, as well: His breakout role was on the series "Get Real," where he played opposite a young Anne Hathaway. Additionally, Jesse had an uncredited voiceover cameo on "The Newsroom."
Jennifer TillyYou'e seen her on TV in: "Family Guy," "Cheers," and "Frasier"
Born with the last name Chan, both Meg and Jen took their mother's maiden name when they embarked on their acting careers. Interestingly enough, both Meg and Jennifer had minor roles on "Hill Street Blues." Jennifer distinguishes herself from her younger sister with a successful poker career. To date, she has won hundreds of thousands of dollars by playing poker at a professional level.
Jason BatemanYou've seen him on TV in: "Arrested Development" (and in films like "Identity Thief")
Famous sibling: Justine Bateman of "Family Ties" fame
Jason Bateman is a comedy icon, thanks to his work on "Arrested Development" and a string of hit comedy movies at the box office. But while he's arguably the more famous Bateman child today, back in the 1980s, his sister Justine was more famous. However, Justine Bateman has had minor roles in recent years on shows like "Psych" and "Californication." Last year, she began studying computer science at UCLA.
