Eagled-eyed "Game of Thrones" fans likely noticed a familiar face in the Season 2 finale of "Suits." New "Suits" character Edward Darby is played by Conleth Hill, best known for his role on "Game of Thrones" as Lord Varys.
This interesting bit of casting has some "Suits" fans wondering which other "Game of Thrones" cast members would fit neatly into the legal drama of "Suits." Here are some top picks.
On "Game of Thrones," Gillen plays Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish. Since Baelish and Varys are constantly sparring, it would make sense for his "Suits" character to come into conflict with Edward Darby in some way. Perhaps Gillen could play one of the partners at Travis Tanner's firm.
Alternatively, Gillen could play the Mayor of New York, as an homage to his previous role as Mayor Carcetti on "The Wire."
Best known as Ros from "Game of Thrones," this lovely actress would be a great romantic interest for Harvey on "Suits." Ideally, she'd be part of a love triangle where Harvey was forced to choose between her character and his old flame Scottie.
Bradley plays Samwell Tarly on "Game of Thrones." Just one look at him, and "Suits" fans know exactly who he should play: a relative of Harold Jakowski. Both men have a sort of "puppy dog" quality to their faces that would make them ideal fictional relatives.
Perhaps Harold has a brother who wants to take his start-up public but is being sued for breach of intellectual property. This storyline would give fan-favorite character Harold a reason to return! Maybe Harold could represent his brother (or at least act as second chair on the case), while Mike could represent the plaintiff. It would be interesting to see how Mike would deal with a newly confident Harold.
Alfie Allen plays Theon Greyjoy on "Game of Thrones" and is also famous as the inspiration for the song "Alfie" by Lily Allen. In real life, Lily is Alfie's sister. It would be an interesting homage to his real-life situation for Alfie Allen to play a musician on "Suits."
His character could seek out legal representation from Harvey after one of Harvey's other famous clients recommended his services. Add in a dash of sibling rivalry to the storyline (perhaps with a guest appearance from Lily Allen), and this episode would be one to remember.
