"General Hospital" seems to be repeating itself more and more as the days go on. How many car accidents and Carly "woe is me" episodes can fans take? As the story develops with Jax taking Jocelyn, one can only imagine how Sonny will play into it. Jason has been in another car accident and is unconscious. Will he morph into someone else this time or possibly return to playing Jason Quartermaine? And if he does change, where does that leave Sam? These are some possibilities on what will happen with the current issues on "General Hospital."
There aren't any plans for Steve Burton to leave his role as Jason Morgan at this point. As we roll into November sweeps, we can only guess that Jason's accident is the set up for something big. It is only August, but storylines have a tendency to build until a big reveal. The possibilities for Jason are endless. He could very well recover and have amnesia once again, though this would be overkill. What about waking up into his old life as Jason Quartermaine and forgetting about Sonny and the organization? Fans seem to love the Jason Morgan character, so chances are he will stick around.
We already know that Sonny is a loose cannon. Jax disappearing with Carly's daughter just gave him something to take his anger out on. If he catches Jax, there will be a showdown. Why does Sonny put himself out on the line for Carly over and over again? This makes his character a little on the annoying side and a lot on the dumb side. Hopefully, Sonny takes his meds and decides to chill out.
Sam has just said yes to marrying Jason. They have been through a lot together and mean the world to one another. She has just learned that Jason was hurt in the car accident while he was helping Carly. Sam has made it clear how she feels about Carly and the relationship she has with Jason. The show was making some progress when Jason told Carly to back off, but now this? Sam will stick by her man no matter what, even if it means the constant presence of Carly.
Someone needs to lock this chick up! Wherever she goes, she causes drama. Boundaries don't exist for her. She leans on Sonny and Jason too much, and it ruined her marriage to Jax. Now, she is dealing with her little girl being taken by her ex-husband (Jax) and her other ex-husband (Sonny) is out to get him. Not to mention, she is the reason Jason is hurt and in the hospital. This lady better get herself together because this will be a long ride to get her daughter.
Jax was so distraught over the custody battle with Carly, he took off. Of course, Sonny had him framed as a drug addict after the custody hearing, and no one was there to help him. He felt defeated and planned this kidnapping of Jocelyn. He came back into town the night Carly was going to be at a fundraiser and was almost stopped by Sean. Now, he is on the run and Sonny is on his tail. What will happen when these two have a showdown?
Whatever the outcome, "General Hospital" writers better get some new material. With this being the only soap left on ABC, it is imperative they keep the fans happy and watching.
