Golden Globes: Claire Danes Shows Off Slim, Stunning Post-Baby Body in Red Versace Gown

If there were a Golden Globe award for most amazing body after baby, Claire Danes would be the woman to beat. The new mom, who gave birth to son Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy less than one month ago, stunned as she walked the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, Jan. 13.

PHOTOS: Golden Globes' most memorable moments ever

Donning a gorgeous red Versace gown with Lorraine Schwartz jewels, the Homeland actress, 33, looked slimmer and sexier than ever. But she confessed to feeling a bit out of her element.

"I'm hoping I don't leak," she joked with E! News correspondent Ryan Seacrest. "But [motherhood is] great. I'm deliriously happy. I'm kind of startled to be in this scene, because I've been so sequestered. I've been in baby world."

PHOTOS: Claire and other best TV nominees

In fact, she added, she and husband Hugh Dancy, 37, have been so busy with their new little boy since his Dec. 17 birth that she didn't even have time to try on her sizzling red halter gown until Saturday -- just one day before the Golden Globes.

    PHOTOS: Babies of the year!

"I tried it on for the first time last night. I just wasn't available," she told Seacrest, noting that she's been spending a lot of time in sweatpants. "But Versace was nice enough to make this for me."
