As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, Milton is one of the residents of Woodbury, run by The Governor (David Morrissey). "Milton is the details guy," Kirkman tells the magazine, noting that while Milton is not a scientist, "he's a smart guy that is trying to find out how zombies behave. Watching him do his little experiments is going to be a lot of fun."

Roberts joins the previously cast Morrissey and Danai Gurira, who will portray famed comic book character Michonne, a survivor who is very handy with a Katanna sword.

The Walking Dead returns Sunday, Oct. 14 at 9/8c on AMC.
