When "Grimm" returns to NBC this Friday, fans can expect a huge show.
"The episode we return with is really quite remarkable because it's what fans have been waiting for, for a season and a half and everything gets revealed," Sasha Roiz, who plays Captain Renard on the show, told AccessHollywood.com . "The characters all kind of start [to] realize [things] about one another. Nick knows about me."
It was in the Fall finale of the show that Nick (David Giuntoli) finally found out that his girlfriend, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) - who is suffering from memory loss -- had feelings for his own boss, Capt. Renard, and that will present some big complications.
"There's gonna be confrontation, there's gonna be repercussions, there's gonna be fights, as you've seen in the trailer, there's gonna be mad love and obsession and everything will kind of spin out of control," he added. "But at the same time it's going to add a whole new level to the show because the characters will all be revealed to one another."
Capt. Renard is part royal in the Wesen world, but he's also a police captain in the human realm, so Sasha said not to expect his character's path to be easily defined as the show continues this Friday.
"Look, he believes in a certain order. The only problem is he believes that he needs to be at the very top of that order," the actor told Access . "So, yes, you have that part of him that wants to create a very lawful society, but one that's very loyal to him. So it's a very interesting dichotomy."
In the return episode, there will be some shirtlessness on Sasha's part, and the actor explained how he stays so fit.
"It's kind of miserable really. You just kind of workout like crazy and don't eat anything good or delicious for a while," he said.
"I still go to the gym and I still lift heavy things. I really believe in just getting your heart rate up and muscle confusion, just mix it up every day. I don't know what I'm going to do day to day," he added.
But, for superfans, who follow Sasha and David on Twitter, and last year saw a pic of Sasha shirtless and holding a cowboy hat - he cleared up the confusion - that is not him in the photo.
"No. I reTweeted a fan's Photoshop and people went crazy! I said something like it was my 'Magic Mike' days or something. It was a joke, I was never a stripper. No, I was never a stripper," he laughed. "I was just kidding and people just thought... I was surprised, I think that people could tell the Photoshopping, because my head looks a little small on that body.
And, let's face it, Sasha doesn't seem like a man who favors spandex.
"And I'm not a spandex guy or a cowboy hat kind of guy," he agreed, referring to THIS photo. "But people kind of bought into it which is really funny."
"Grimm" returns on Friday night at 9/8c on NBC.
