Hart of Dixie Books Night Court's Charlie Robinson

Night Court's Charlie Robinson is joining Hart of Dixie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Robinson will play the surly Sgt. Jeffries, the grandfather of Ruby Jeffries (Golden Brooks).

When Ruby returns home to BlueBell, she'll quickly connect with Dr. Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson). But her return isn't all smiles and sunshine. Ruby will have to face some unresolved issues with Lemon (Jaime King) and Lavon (Cress Williams).

Hart of Dixie premieres Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 8/7c on The CW. Are you excited to meet the Jeffries?
