HBO has renewed Girls and Veep for second seasons, the network announced Monday.
The Sunday night comedies will both return for 10-episode seasons.

Created by and starring Lena Dunham, Girls, about a group of twentysomethings in New York City, premiered two weeks ago to 810,000 viewers. Veep, starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the vice president of the United States, bowed last week to 1.4 million viewers.
