Fans of HBO's True Blood will be able to spend at least one more year in Bon Temps. The hit vampire series has been renewed for a seventh season, HBO announced Monday.
Brian Buckner will return as showrunner for the new season, which will debut next summer.
"True Blood remains a signature show for HBO, and a true phenomenon with our viewers," HBO president Michael Lombardo said in a statement. "Thanks to Brian Buckner and his talented team, the show continues to be a thrill ride like nothing else on TV."
True Blood is currently in the midst of its sixth season and airs Sundays at 9/8c on HBO. Are you happy about the renewal news?
