Heidi Klum has been mostly vague about her relationship with Martin Kirsten -- who has served as her bodyguard for years -- but the supermodel recently acknowledged the two were dating. Now Heidi is opening up more about her feelings for Martin and how he gets along with her four children.
Speaking to the German magazine Bunte, the former wife of British singer Seal confirms her relationship with Kirsten is serious. "Ja! Ich bin verliebt!" she tells the magazine in German, which translates to, "Yes! I'm in love!"

Heidi, 39, announced earlier this year that she was splitting from Seal after seven years of marriage. The former couple has four children together, including Heidi's eight-year-old daughter from a previous relationship whom Seal adopted.

The Project Runway host also said Martin has a good relationship with the children and that they like him very much. "This is also one reason I'm so fond of him. He's been helping me for the last four years and has been wonderful taking care of us. He plays with them, he protects them and I trust him."

When asked about not going public with the relationship, Heidi said her boyfriend is the type of guy who "doesn't like being in the limelight." But she added that she herself is not trying to hide anything. "At the end of the day, people have to do what personally makes them happy, and this is how I live my life."
