While stars like Charlize Theron and Lea Michele showed some skin in their red carpet best at the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills Sunday, other celebs were at the opposite end of the style spectrum and covered up in gowns with high turtleneck necklines.

Kicking off the evening's pre-show, E!'s Giuliana Rancic hit the Beverly Hills Hilton red carpet in a floor-length gray and black Monique Collignon gown and dazzled in Palladium jewelry.

The Help's Jessica Chastain stepped out in a pearl-adorned, white Givenchy Couture gown, which she paired with Jimmy Choo sandals and Harry Winston jewelry.

And although the stars' dresses were nothing short of totally glam, we can't decide whether the high neckline looks stuffy or retro cool.
