The Daytime Emmys are returning to HLN.
The network announced Thursday that it will air the daytime television awards show on June 16th, making it the second consecutive year that the ceremony won't be held on a broadcast channel.
“Last year, HLN’s first-ever presentation of the Daytime Emmy Awards was the No. 1 most-watched, regularly-scheduled non-news broadcast in the network’s history, and received terrific viewer feedback both on-air and online," said Scot Safon, the network's executive vice president and general manager in a release.
The 39th annual telecast was watched by 912,000 viewers on HLN when it initially aired, compared with the 5.5 million that watched the show on CBS in 2011.
This year's ceremony will be held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel and will air at 8-10 p.m ET on HLN. The show will be executive produced by Gabriel Gornell of LocoDistrict, who also produced the 39th annual awards.
The ceremony will also feature Lifetime Achievement Awards presented to producer Bob Stewart and former Let's Make a Deal host Mony Hall.
