Ian Ziering — still looking good at, gasp, 49?!
The Beverly Hills, 90210 star unveiled his shirtless bod as a celebrity guest-star for his Saturday premiere as one of the Chippendales at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas over the weekend. Ziering even dropped 25 pounds for the month-long gig, the Las Vegas Sun reports.
"I'm ready to go," Ziering says. "I'm chomping at the bit. I'm tanned from head to toe, and it looks like I've been in The Bahamas. I can't wait to get out there. This is going to be a lot of fun."
Ziering, a new dad to his second daughter (Penna, born April 25), sounds fully sold on the role. "It's a sexy, sensual show, and the girls do go wild," he says. "It's not a salacious, scandalous, back-alley production. The theater is $10 million. More people than not have seen me on television in swim shorts, so I don't have any problem stripping down. We had shirtlessness on 90210, so I take all this with a grain of salt."
And what does Ziering have to say for about that half-century mark approaching? "At this age, I actually feel better physically than I did when I was in my 30s," Ziering explains. "I feel sober and clearer from the experience that I've had all these years that I've lived. I just feel more well-rounded, and physically, I feel like I'm in the best shape I've ever been."
How do you think Ian Ziering looks in his new get-up? Would you go see him in his Chippendales Las Vegas show?
