Monday, January 7
Watch: Jessica "Sister Jude" Lange visits "The View" to talk "AHS." Kimmel bids farewell to the midnight time slot with a ten-year retrospective of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (it's been on ten years?! We're getting old). "Zero Dark Thirty" director Kathryn Bigelow sits down with Stephen Colbert. And yeah, we're pretty tired of Snooki at this point too, but she and JWoww share a "Leno" couch with Bill Maher, which could get pretty salty.
Skip: Rachael Ray is milking a goat… in the studio. Yeah, no thanks. And those of you already feeling inundated with "Bachelor" info should skip "Good Morning America," where Bachelor Sean Lowe is a guest.
Tuesday, January 8
Watch: Rachael Ray gets back on the good foot, literally, when fashion expert Gretta Monahan advises viewers on "foot shape" and less painful footwear. On a more somber note, Gabrielle Giffords and Mark Kelly will be giving their first joint interview since Giffords was shot -- on the second anniversary of the attack, no less -- on "World News with Diane Sawyer." And Cham Sampion -- er, "Sam Champion" meets his fellow "Miss America" judges on "Good Morning America." Morrissey is playing "The Late Show"; let's hope the notorious concert-cutter-short gets through a whole song.
Skip: Anyone not wanting to revisit the '90s should skip Kimmel's double shot of Jennifer "Friends" Aniston and "Don't Speak"-ers No Doubt.
Wednesday, January 9
Watch: Jeff Bridges expands his already-impressive repertoire -- Oscar-winning actor, commercial voice-over guy, possessor of awesome hair -- with a book, "The Dude and the Zen Master," and he's on "The View" to promote it. And Susan Sarandon either presides over, or is a witness to, a "meatball showdown" (hee) on "The Chew." Longing for some minimalist-surrealist humor? "The Late Late Show" is featuring Steven Wright tonight. But it's Fallon who's getting really surreal with a "Fargo"/fictional polygamy/cream-cheese random guest combo of William H. Macy, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Rachael Ray.
Skip: We can't miss Bethenny Frankel if she won't go away (and possibly not even then?), and her appearance on "Ellen" is not "away."
Thursday, January 10
Watch: Don Cheadle of "House of Lies" visits "The Talk." Meanwhile, Rob Lowe -- who's taking a sideline in Lifetime true-crime movies of late, which we're guiltily enjoying -- is on "GMA" to discuss his latest role in the Casey-Anthony-case movie. It's an "SNL" micro-reunion on Fallon when the cast of "30 Rock" comes by. Josh "W." Brolin drops in on "The Daily Show."
Skip: You'll be getting more than enough "American Idol" before long, so skip Leno's Ryan Seacrest/Randy Jackson 2-for-1.
Friday, January 11
Watch: Premium cable's most polarizing twentysomething, Lena Dunham, is on "Kelly & Michael Live." The hilarious Nick Kroll visits Fallon. And it's a host-swappy day, with Kimmel on "Ellen" and Julie Chen on "The Late Late Show."
Skip: Is there no escaping Snooki and JWoww? They're on "The Talk"…and Fallon. See? Hope they've got an extra man on that seven-second-delay button.
