    iPhone 5 Available for Pre-Sale Just After Midnight

    Fill out the web form and keep your finger on the keyboard-trigger: Pre-orders for the iPhone 5 start at 12:01 a.m. on Sep. 14, Apple announced on Thursday.

    Prices start at $199 for those willing to lock in a two-year plan with AT&T, Sprint or Verizon.

    Otherwise, fans can purchase the latest hardware at Apple Retail Stores starting at 8:00 a.m. on Sep. 21.

    The iPhone 5, which was unveiled in San Francisco on Wednesday morning, is faster, slimmer and taller than previous models.

    Available in black or white, the iPhone 5 also boasts longer battery life and a smarter Siri.
