iTunes Offers Three Downtown Abbey Episodes Ahead of PBS Airings

U.S. fans of Downton Abbey have waited long enough for more of the British drama — and iTunes seems to agree.

According to BBC News, Apple will offer the final three episodes of the third season on iTunes on Jan. 29, three weeks before they air on PBS. However, there is a catch. To gain access to the special offer, one needs to purchase a "season pass" to Downton Abbey through iTunes.

The Season 3 Downton Abbey DVD will also be available for purchase on Jan. 29, making it oddly easier to watch the television series on any platform besides live television.
