Jeff Berman Named President of BermanBraun

Jeff Berman has been named president of BermanBraun, joining the media company from the NFL, where he served as general manager of digital media.

Despite sharing the same last name, Berman is not related to company co-founder Gail Berman, a spokeswoman told TheWrap. He started his new position on Monday.

Since launching in 2007, BermanBraun has had its fingers in a number of pots, investing in film, television and digital properties. Among its offerings are MSN's celebrity site Wonderwall, the NBC series "Deception" and the SyFy show "Alphas," as well as a proposed feature film version of the self-help book "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus."
