Was Jennifer Lopez's Sexy Oscars Dress a Dig at Marc Anthony?

Jennifer Lopez wasn't an Oscar nominee at Sunday's Academy Awards, but the diva arguably stole the show in a seriously revealing Zuhair Murad dress with sheer panels and a plunging neckline.

Although her stylist slammed furious web speculation that Lopez, 42, suffered a televised wardrobe malfunction in the frock, the singer, actress and American Idol judge was definitely making a statement -- but to whom?

During her seven-year marriage to Anthony, 43, Lopez's super-sexy style was a point of contention, insiders previously told Us Weekly.

"He would make her feel terrible about herself if she wanted to wear something sexy," a source said. "He likes her to dress in a demure, 'wife' style. He hated the fact that she was as a sex symbol."

In fact, at a 2010 cover shoot for Us Weekly, the often-controlling Anthony objected to one revealing pic of his wife which he found "too sexy and unbecoming for a 40-year-old mother of two," another source said.

That's clearly not so much a problem with backup dancer Casper Smart, Lopez's 24-year-old beau of about three months. (After Lopez's headline making appearance onstage with Cameron Diaz, Smart was her date at Vanity Fair's Oscars afterparty Sunday evening.)

  it must be his persona onstage, he is a great performer and a good actor, not much to look at though. Ms Universe found him appealing enough to marry him .... she is beautiful! Ms lopez probably because he persued her and they had alot in common

  I really don't care that she is barely dressed or not; my heart goes out to her twins. They are gifts from our Heavenly Father, and it takes more than having children to be a mom. A mom is there and knows her childrens needs wants and hearts. A mother on the other hand just has children because she can, leaving the upbringing up to whomever will do it. I don't mean to say Jlo doesn't love her babies, but children need, crave, and desire more of mommy's time than stuff. It's time to our social lives on hold and take care of our babies needs, Get over yourself: God is watching you

I agree that J-Lo did look good at the Oscars but I do not agree that she stole the show. I think Gwyneth Paltrow looked better than J-Lo. Her dress was beautiful, tasteful, and classy. I am not a Gwyneth Paltrow fan but I had to admit, she looked awesome!

I felt that she dressed in that revealing gown in order to upset Marc A. She dresses and acts immature for her age and as a mother. She would have more class if she covered herself up with self respect. Any woman can walk around sleezy. She doesn't hold any special skill in her ability to show her chest off.

JLO looks good no matter what the hell she wants to put on, and it is not for a man it's because she always, and forever, have a wonderful sense of style, besides she is gorgeous. They were other dresses showing a bit too but no comments, why? cuz they didn't look as good as JLO did, lol.

It's good she's out of the relationship with Marc Anthony & she can now dress as she wishes; however, if she would just stand up straight she'd look so much better. And possibly not reveal so much of herself---so far she's batted zero attracting men who are attracted to seeing her half dressed.
