It's official. After a number of delays, the cast of "Jersey Shore" is heading for Italy. Gossip website TMZ captured Snooki and J-Woww checking in at Newark Airport as they head overseas to Italy. Based on all of the drama surrounding the fourth season in Italy, many fans of "Jersey Shore" began to wonder if the Italy season was ever going to happen. Now we can be certain that it will. Will it be good? That remains to be seen.The fourth season had been plagued by contract disputes and difficult rules from the Italian government. Some began to wonder if MTV would scrap the whole idea and just send the cast back to the shore. Fortunately, it worked out. Now, "Jersey Shore" will have a fresh look for the new season, which could be the last for the show. By now, the rules laid about the government of Florence, Italy are well known. The cast can't film in bars, nor can they be shown drinking outside. That likely threw the producers of the show into a loop. What could they do without the bars and clubs? The fact that they are still heading to Italy should tell us that they figured something out. We will have to wait until the new season airs to find out.
I'm very excited about Italy. It is good for the show, and probably good for the cast. It should be fun to watch how they interact with Italians. I can't wait to see what they do for a job over there. It will be a culture shock for the "Jersey Shore" gang, and that should be fun to watch. Even though they can't film in bars or clubs, the cast still figures to get drunk and angry. I expect them to have a lot of parties at their house, most likely with some random Italians that they meet.
With all of the drama last season, coupled with the new destination, I expect the fourth season to be strong. The Miami season wasn't anywhere close to being as good as the other two seasons. For that reason, the destination change might make some fans nervous. However, there is so much that can happen in Italy, and it is fun to not know what to expect. Part of the fourth season will be filmed back in Seaside Heights, which should give everyone their Karma fix. I think the fourth season will be the best one yet.
