Jersey Shore's Vinny Gets MTV Talk Show

Vinny Guadagnino is replacing the "tan" in "GTL" with "talk show." The Jersey Shore star is getting his own talk show/reality series on MTV, the network announced Tuesday.

Titled The Show with Vinny, the series will put a twist on the talk show format by having Guadagnino interview his guests at his Staten Island home. Celebrities will enjoy a tasty Italian meal while his mother Paula, wild Uncle Nino and others add to the unorthodox format.

"Vinny's unique mix of humor, intelligence, curiosity and heart make him the perfect choice for this genre busting take on the interview format," Chris Linn, MTV executive vice president of programming and head of production, said in a statement. "As the lives of the Jersey Shore cast evolve, we are excited to explore new ground while still delivering the laughs and surprises that fans have come to expect from the franchise."

The Show with Vinny is the third Jersey Shore spin-off, following Snooki & JWoww and The Pauly D Project. Shore will wrap up its six-season run next month.
