    Julianne Hough All Smiles at Lakers Game With Nina Dobrev After Ryan Seacrest Split

    Hough's hoop dreams! On the heels of her split with Ryan Seacrest, Julianne Hough is definitely not hiding at home on the couch with a pint of ice cream. On Sunday, the 24-year-old Safe Haven star was front and center courtside at L.A.'s Staples Center with pal Nina Dobrev to cheer on the Lakers as they played the Sacramento Kings.

    In her first big public outing since Friday's news hit, the former Dancing with the Stars pro was all smiles in a sweet casual outfit: White lace blouse, khaki jacket, skinny black jeans and ankle boots. Also joined by Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco, Hough and the Vampire Diaries star, 24, sipped iced drinks as they smiled, clapped and checked out the sights inside the arena.

    One day before, Dobrev lent Hough her support for a more private girls' outing: A trip to the beach! "Beachin' with my bitches," she captioned the fun, sun-filled shot, with herself wedged between Nina Dobrev, stylist Riawna Capri, Morgan Johnson and friend Jill. "#friendsarethebesttherapy."

    Hough, who dated the American Idol judge, 38, for two years, had been tweeting inspirational messages following the split. "I can't tell you the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone . . .Love when these things catch your eyes in the most unexpected places . . .It Gets Better."

    Beach, basketball and other leisure time activities are just what Hough needs right now. Indeed, a source told Us Seacrest's breakneck work schedule caused the rift. "He never sleeps," the source said. "It's a lifestyle she couldn't handle anymore."
