Katy Perry Gets Affectionate With John Mayer at Pre-Grammys Bash

Here comes the bride? Katy Perry looked ready to walk down the aisle at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala and Salute to Industry Icons in Beverly Hills Feb. 9. Wearing a white Rafael Cennamo gown with pearl embellishments, the "Wide Awake" singer beamed as she worked the room with boyfriend John Mayer.

After posing for pictures solo on the red carpet, Perry reunited with Mayer on the terrace. "She fixed his hair and they chatted," a partygoer tells Us Weekly. "They seemed really happy and content."

Inside the event, the pair separated to mingle with their A-list pals. Perry, 28, caught up with Miley Cyrus, while Mayer, 35, bonded with John Legend. "The two guys were talking about music," the partygoer reveals.

When the couple regrouped, they chatted up Sting at their table. At one point, Perry rubbed Mayer's back and even slipped her hand up his tuxedo jacket. During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Mayer spoke for the first time about his relationship with the once-wed pop star.

"I mean, I'm quite happy," said the singer-songwriter, whose famous exes include Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt. "I'm happy in all aspects of my life. I'm very happy in all aspects of my life."

Perry and Mayer aren't expected to walk the red carpet at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 10; Girls' Allison Williams recently revealed she will be the nominee's date during an appearance on Anderson Live.

"She's the hottest date. . .I can't wait to go," Williams said. "Obviously she's awesome. She's the best."
