Like many times before, Katy Perry built her red carpet look for the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas Sunday around one color theme: purple.
Clad in a shimmering lavender Bluemarine gown, the 27-year-old, who dyed her hair a dark violet in April, chose a deep purple lip color, thick black eyeliner and flawless, airbrushed-like skin.

To achieve her wine-stained pout, Todd Delano, celebrity makeup artist for Lancome, used Lancome Le Lipstique LipColouring Stick in Portelle, a muted brown-plum pencil, and Lancome Rouge in Love Lipcolor in Fiery Attitude, a berry wine lipstick.

The shade mix on Perry's natural lip color appeared electric purple -- similar to the shade Kesha colored her lips (with an eyeliner) last week.
