The presidential election might be in the nation's rear-view mirror, but the political intrigue is far from over. At least on Netflix, which will premiere the original series "House of Cards" on Feb. 1. In the series, which is produced by Media Rights Capital and is adapted from a BBC miniseries of the same name, Kevin Spacey plays Rep. Frank Underwood, a ruthless congressman with his eye on the White House. "House of Cards," from "The Social Network" director David Fincher, "Farragut North" writer Beau Willimon and "Forrest Gump" writer Eric Roth, also stars Robin Wright as Underwood's wife Claire.
