Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Plan to Keep Their Baby's Life "As Private As Possible"

Kim Kardashian's baby won't be on TV -- at least until he or she is, much much older. The mom-to-be and sister Kourtney Kardashian appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday, Jan. 29 to promote the new season of their E! reality show Kourtney and Kim Take Miami.

Kim, 32, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West, told Jimmy Kimmel that she "doesn't think" their baby will be shown on any of her reality shows. But Kimmel raised a good point. "What if the baby feels bad about being the only one left out of the family?" he asked.

"When the baby is old enough and she or he decides that's what they want to do, then that will be a decision," Kim explained. "From the start, as of now, that's just a personal choice that Kanye and I have made," she said. "We're going to try to keep it as private as possible."

But that doesn't mean she thinks sister Kourtney is making a bad decision in allowing her children to appear on TV. "I love seeing Mason and Penelope on TV," she said. "Mason is the highlight of our show, I think." Though Kourtney, 33, says it was a "struggle" making that decision for her family, she felt that "them being with their mom is the best thing."

PHOTOS: Why Kim and Kanye are the perfect match

In addition to their different parenting styles, Kim says she probably won't be accepting too many hand-me-down baby clothes from Kourtney. "I think she has a few key pieces, but if anyone knows Kanye, they just know how into fashion he is, and I think he's going to have things specially made," Kim said of the rapper, 35. "So I don't think hand-me-downs are going to work."

Kim also said that she and West had "talked about" having children together, but her pregnancy was "a nice surprised."

"He is so excited," she gushed. "It's really cute how excited he is."
