It’s the second high-profile casting announcement this week for the CBS drama series The Good Wife, which Monday said that Maura Tierney is joining the show as a recurring for the upcoming Season 4. Kristin Chenoweth has booked a recurring role in the new season playing a top-of-her-game political reporter who matches wits with Julianne Margulies’ Alicia and Chris Noth’s Peter. Chenoweth won a supporting actress Emmy for her ABC series Pushing Daisies and was Emmy-nominated for her guest stint on Glee. The Tony-winner also starred in this past season’s ABC series GCB, which was cancelled last month.
