Kristina Wagner: My Kids Don't Want To Watch Felicia & Frisco On General Hospital

Jack Wagner's Frisco Jones returned to "General Hospital" earlier this month, but Kristina Wagner, who plays Felicia, said the pair's real-life children haven't yet tuned in to catch mom and dad acting opposite each other on daytime TV.

"I don't think that they're too interested in it," Kristina told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Wednesday's Access Hollywood Live.

"I actually say, 'Hey, we're on today, you wanna watch?'" Kristina said of encouraging her children with ex-husband Jack - Harrison, 18, and Peter 22 - to tune in. "They don't seem like they really want to check it out. I don't know if [the] soap opera genre is something that interests them."

Jack returned to the show earlier this month - the first time in nearly two decades - and Kristina confirmed that her ex did ask her permission before returning.

"I was in Indiana working on the film ['Children of Internment,' Kristina's documentary about German Americans who were placed in internment camps during WWII], doing some editing and I got a call from him and he said to me, 'Look, ['GH' Executive Producer] Frank Valentini has asked me to come back to the show for the 50th anniversary' and my first reaction was, 'OK, good,'" Kristina recounted. "But then I started thinking of all these things to discourage him like, 'You're gonna have to park in the lot over there.' I was just trying to come up with some things."

Speaking honestly and openly, Kristina said she had various emotions after her ex-husband asked the question.

"I'm not really sure how I was feeling," she said. "I didn't know how I was gonna be on the set when the lights went up and the cameras were rolling. I wasn't feeling really secure with myself with that, but I realize now... it's great. It's actually very good, because emotions are so raw, and you know, you wanna work 'em [as] an actress anyway... Use them."

Beyond her work on "GH," Kristina has been spending time on her documentary, with her brother, Joe Crump.

"What's not known is the internment of Germans [during WWII]," Kristina said, of the topic she was prompted to examine in her film. "The Germans have gone to Congress... to try and get a public apology. So far, it has not happened.

"My documentary is about the children telling their parents' stories and these children were actually interned with their parents," she said.

Kristina expects to complete her documentary by summer.
