Rob Kardashian's new line of socks is official. The designer line named Arthur George has officially launched at Neiman Marcus. The Egyptian cotton collection includes a variety of bold colors ranging from Tiffany blue to shocking orange. Patterns range from stripes and polka dots to zebra prints and zig zags.
The funky neon and graffiti styles should be a hit with "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" fans. Rob's socks go for about $30 a pair and hit the market just in time for the holidays. We can easily see Bruce Jenner rocking these potential stocking stuffers on the golf course.
Young Robert has had his detractors in the past. In fact, when he announced his sock intentions on the reality show that made him famous, his sisters mocked and ridiculed the idea.
Of all the Kardashians, Rob seems to have had the most trouble trying to find his career footing. Earlier this year, Rob Jr. announced that he would be following in the footsteps of his late father. Rob Sr. was, of course, an uber-Hollywood lawyer on the O.J. Simpson murder case. Rob stated his intention to get his legal eagle degree at University of Southern California, where he also received his undergraduate degree. The school says he never applied.
At one point, the 25-year-old was in the personal management business, just like his own momager Kris Jenner. Rob was all set to manage girl group BG5. They even had a song on iTunes. On the show, Rob has even alluded to partnering with brother-in-law Scott Disick, who is now a Manhattan restaurateur.
Rob and the family
His most famous sister, Kim Kardashian, called Rob a failure during an on-air squabble with her ex Kris Humphries. She joked that their model baby sis, Kendall Jenner, made more money than he did. Now Kim supports the Arthur George collection on her blog.
Rob in love
Rob's new line of socks should be a boost to his ego, at least. While things may be coming together for him on the professional side, his love life has been a roller coaster of drama. Recently Rob took to Twitter to lambaste a girlfriend for cheating. His ex Rita Ora seemed to defend herself, and then Rob backtracked. Meanwhile, he had a very public falling out with ex-GF Adrienne Bailon of Disney's "Cheetah Girls." He also got yet another woman, Rosa Acosta, pregnant on air.
Rob in trouble
Rob even had a mini run-in with the law. The cops didn't realize that he was joking and a confusing situation escalated. He was handcuffed and detained by the police. Luckily, the matter was dropped.
Whether the Arthur George sock line is a hit for Rob remains to be seen. Being an entrepreneur is definitely part of the family business, so he does have that on his side.
Rob's new start
Either way, Rob seeks to do good with his new venture. A brand new pair of Arthur George socks is donated to the Family Emergency Shelter Coalition with every purchase made.
So, is this the hit the Boy Kardashian has been looking for? We shall see when his show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" resumes.
