Lauren Conrad: See the Cover of Her New Beauty Book!

Between her signature winged eyeliner and experimentation with colorful hair hues, Lauren Conrad has proven that she can teach her fans a thing or two about beauty just as well as any magazine editor.

So it comes as no surprise that the 26-year-old Hills alum’s sophomore release to her 2010 fashion how-to book Lauren Conrad Style is all about hair and makeup -- and will be titled Lauren Conrad Beauty.

"In her first guide dedicated exclusively to beauty, Lauren covers everything you need to know to maximize your own beauty potential," the publisher, Harper Collins, tells Us Weekly in a release. "From tips for creating a strong foundation and maintaining healthy skin and hair through diet, exercise, and all-around wellness to everyday makeup techniques and tricks of the trade for special-occasion looks, Lauren Conrad Beauty provides the advice you've been waiting for."

    PHOTOS: Lauren's BFF history

The fashion designer, who sells her line LC by Lauren Conrad at Kohl's and Paper Crown at retailers like Nordstrom, dabbled in beauty writing for the first time in April 2011, when she launched her website, thebeautydepartment.com with her hairstylist Kristin Ess and her makeup pro Amy Nadine. The site has quickly gained popularity among beauty lovers and Conrad's own fans due to the chic photography and easy-to-follow instructionals on everything from achieving the perfect sock bun to flawless, wedding day makeup.

Lauren Conrad Beauty will be on shelves October 16, 2012. The release will happen just weeks before the second novel in her Fame Game series, Starstruck, hits bookstores in November.
