"Ok... My status has changed. I am now single," Linda, who had recently taken part in VH1's "Couples Therapy" with Charley, wrote. "After the great therapy we had together and time to think and concentrate on who we are and who we want to be, Charley and I decided that we should each travel through life in different directions."

Adding, "But, thank you all for always being so supportive of our relationship and choices. I hope that you all understand and are not be too terribly disappointed. Love you!"

The change of heart seemed to come out of the blue, as just two weeks ago, Linda stopped by Access Hollywood Live and happily divulged details of the now-former couple's sex life, saying their relationship got hot and heavy quickly.

"Did the action begin right away?" Billy Bush asked.

"Hell yeah, absolutely!" a proud Linda said at the time. "He was an old soul, he came at a place when I really needed somebody to listen and to be with me. He was my soul mate from the beginning."

Linda and Charley were 49 and 19 (respectively) when their nearly four-year relationship began, and Linda told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover they weren't necessarily considering marriage just yet.

"We're not really ready to take the plunge yet for marriage... it's something we have talked about, there's a lot things to discuss," she explained. "I think I came away from my 24-year marriage with a few trust issues."
