The Lockhart/Gardner Split on "The Good Wife"

I'm sure the big question right now as far as "The Good Wife" goes is, "Will Lockhart/Gardner really split?" I think if this does happen it will be sad day on "The Good Wife." One of my favorite things about the show is how well all the cast members work together. I just can't imagine watching them all on the show, but not working together. However, maybe this split is just what the show needs to bring a little zing to it!

Right now I'm wondering where everyone will go. I love the "girl power" the show has always portrayed. Therefore, I'd love to see Kalinda and Alicia side with Diane just so the show doesn't lose that dynamic. The three of them would make an awesome team and it would be fun to watch them kick some butt! Then you have Will and Alicia and I can't imagine them not working together any longer. I'm afraid the show will lose something if that happens. I am really not fond of Bond or Blake and I am definitely not a fan of Carys. So, this change will be nothing short of interesting!

The tension between Will and Alicia has always helped make the show what it is today. You don't see that tension as much anymore now that Will has a girlfriend. Although, maybe if Will and Alicia are at two different firms then they will realize they miss each other and that tension will return. I also think that the show will lose a lot if Kalinda and Alicia are split up. They almost make a better duo than Alicia and Will do. Kalina brings a lot to the table so she'll be fine no matter where she goes, but my hope is to see them stay together.

Alicia and Peter still linger in the background of the story line. When the show started it was based on her rebuilding her career after he ruined her life due to his infidelity. I think Peter could leave the show and not be missed one bit. As long as Alicia still gets to continue in the roll she's in now I imagine it would be just fine. I'm sure it's not only because of the fact that I'm a woman that I'm so big on the whole "girl power" aspect of the show. I bet you'd find plenty men out there who are all about it as well!
