Mario Lopez Hopes Second Child With Wife Courtney Mazza Is a Baby Boy

Get ready for baby No. 2! After Mario Lopez and wife Courtney Mazza announced Feb. 19 that they're expecting their second child together, the couple hit the red carpet together at the National Hispanic Media Coalition's 16th annual Impact Awards Gala at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on Feb. 22.

Lopez, 39, posed for photographers on the red carpet by placing his hand on his wife's small baby bump. The Extra and X-Factor host, who wed actress Mazza on Dec. 1 of last year, told Us Weekly at the event that he's hoping it's a little boy who will be joining daughter Gia.

"I already have a girl, so if we have a boy that would be nice," he told Us. "But I won't be disappointed if we don't."

The second-time parents-to-be, however, have decided to keep the sex of their baby a secret. "We're going to keep it old school," Lopez said.

Showing off her pregnancy curves in a little black dress, Mazza, who is due at the end of summer, told Us that she's ready to have her second child.

"I do feel prepared in a way," she said, "although I'm hoping it's like riding a bike and that I'll just remember what I did with Gia because now all the newborn stuff she obviously doesn't need anymore. So I try to think what did I use for this and how did I know that," Mazza explained. "Hopefully it'll come back to me."
