Mario Lopez will be returning as host for The X Factor's third season, Fox announced Monday.
"I'm thrilled Mario is back for Season Three of The X Factor," judge and executive producer Simon Cowell said in a statement. "Hosting a live show and keeping the judges — especially Demi — in line, is not an easy job, but Mario is a pro and we are glad he's coming back."

Lopez's Season 2 co-host Khloe Kardashian will not be returning, Entertainment Weekly reports. "We really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best in her future endeavors," the show's producers said in a statement.
Lopez and Kardashian joined the singing competition together last season, but the reality star, who had never hosted live TV before, underwent her share of stumbles, including exposing her nipples through a transparent top during her first appearance.
Kardashian is the third member of The X Factor's Season 2 team to depart. Neither L.A. Reid nor Britney Spears will be back at the judges' table for Season 3.
