Mayim Bialik Injured In Car Accident; Tweets She'll Keep Her Fingers

"Big Bang Theory" actress Mayim Bialik was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

A vehicle carrying three male tourists from out of the country was turning near La Brea and Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, when they struck the car Mayim was in on Wednesday just before noon, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Access Hollywood.

The actress suffered a severe laceration to her left hand and thumb, the LAPD told Access.

She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The actress let fans know she was not in danger of losing any digits, despite a report from TMZ that suggested she might lose a finger.

"(husband typing) In pain but will keep all my fingers," she Tweeted, before letting fans know about a promotional appearance she filmed earlier in the day.

"If u wanna See pre accident me watch The Soup tonight lol," she, via her husband, Michael Stone, added.
