Every Hollywood studio is courting partners across the globe in China, Russia and India, but in the world of YouTube one company stands above the rest overseas – Base79.
Founded by former advertising executive Ashley Mackenzie, Base 79's network of channels reaches as many as 700 million viewers a month and includes partners such as the BBC and Simon Cowell.
While most of the biggest networks of YouTube channels in the United States have yet to establish a big footprint overseas, Mackenzie has structured his business as YouTube's one truly international network.
