    Men's USA Basketball Team Wins Olympic Gold!

    In London on Sunday, the USA Men's basketball team defended their champion status in the Olympic finals, bringing home the gold for the second consecutive Games.

    The team, which includes notable NBA stars Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony, faced off against their 2008 Beijing Olympics finals opponents, Spain, and won by seven points. (Final score: USA, 107; Spain, 100.) Russia will take home the bronze medal.

    Their victory comes just one day after the USA's Women's basketball team won their fifth straight gold in the finals against France.

    For Bryant, who will celebrate his 34th birthday on August 23, the London Games marks his last Olympics. "This is it for me," the NBA All Star told reporters on Wednesday. "The other guys are good to go."

    Several stars turned out for the game, which happens to fall on the last day of the 2012 Olympics, including David Beckham and his sons Cruz and Romeo, and Jesse Eisenberg.
