Minnie Driver Reveals Baby Daddy

The cat’s out of the bag: Minnie Driver finally opened up to the press about the identity of her baby daddy. Sort of.

The “Good Will Hunting” actress told the British magazine The Observer that the father of her three-year-old son, Henry Story Driver, is a writer from the defunct TV show “The Riches,” which Driver starred in back in 2007-08.

The 42-year-old says she held the information from the public out of respect for the biological parent’s privacy, but noted, "I don't need to protect him anymore. He can fend for himself. He's a grown-up.” She added, “We weren't together and he wasn't directly in the business, so I chose to protect him and not have a rain of publicity."

There was certainly a rain of searches on Yahoo! for the star as well as “minnie driver son’s father” in the past day.

Driver didn’t seem to think it was a big deal to let some details slip: She explained it wasn’t a “big story” because the man in question “is not famous.” But she did add that the mystery dad is becoming more involved in her son’s life. "Is he a good dad? Sort of. He's figuring it out." The mom explains, “I mean, he hasn't been that involved -- his choice. But he is now."

The singer and actress, who most recently starred in “Hunky Dory,” says she’d like to be involved in "Glee." "Oh, I've been trying to get on that show since, well... God knows. I know, I'm not scared to say it! Gwyneth Paltrow completely stole my thunder!"
