Susan Luckey, best known for playing Mayor Shinn's daughter in The Music Man, died Thursday, TMZ.com reports. She was 74.

Luckey (real name Suzanne Douglas) died from natural causes, according to her daughter Shayna Reynolds, who said her mother had not been suffering from any long-term illnesses at the time of her death. Luckey was cremated and laid to rest with other family members.
Besides her role in The Music Man, Luckey also starred opposite Shirley Jones in Carousel.
