NBCUniversal has made several moves in its ad sales division, promoting three executives and bringing aboard two more to head newly formed units. All will report to NBCU Ad Sales President Linda Yaccarino.
Dan Lovinger, EVP of Advertising Sales & Integrated Marketing for Telemundo Media, has been promoted to EVP, Cable Ad Sales, NBCUniversal, though he will still have oversight of Telemundo; he will co-report to Yaccarino and Telemundo COO Jackie Hernandez. Mark Miller, SVP, Ad Sales for USA & Syfy, has been promoted to EVP, Ad Sales, NBCUniversal News Group, where he will oversee sales for NBC News, CNBC and MSNBC. And Peter Naylor, EVP, Digital Media Sales, has been named EVP, Ad Sales, NBC News Digital.
In addition, Trish Frohman joins the company as EVP, Ad Sales Strategy, a new group tasked with developing the overall sales strategy for the division. She comes from Turner Broadcasting, where she most recently was EVP, Sales and Marketing for the Sports, Event Marketing, Local and Turner trade groups. Alison Tarrant joins as EVP, Client Solutions for the company’s newly created Cable Entertainment networks unit, which creates, plans and executes client-focused marketing across the portfolio. She had been at the CW as EVP Integrated Sales and Marketing
