"NCIS": Is Romance in the Air for Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David?

For "NCIS" fans, we've watched Tony and Ziva almost have a cat and mouse relationship. They love each other. They hate each other. They are closely knit, yet they live separate lives. Each have their own personal story yet they are are inter-connected in so many ways.

Toni DiNozzo -- Over the past few shows, we've watched Tony change, almost as if he is re-finding himself. He reconnected with his father, learns that an old ex entered the mental hospital---let's face it. That would make any of us look at ourselves. These things are all part of Tony DiNozzo refinding himself as a person, an agent, and as a man. He learns to accept himself, love himself, and appreciate those around him.

Ziva David -- She hasn't had an easy life. She's watched her father from a young age choose his career over her. She knows pain and heartache. She also sees and respects Tony--for all his cutup and clown acts. She is the one person who can see through his acts and see the real Tony.

The question remains if they should hook up as a couple. Remember "Jag"? Harm and Lt. Col. Sarah 'Mac' MacKenzie. It took many seasons before the inevitable happened: they fell in love. It wasn't a question of if, but when. The last episode it happened, and it was a beautiful, romantic ending to an action packed show.

Should Tony and Ziva become a couple?

Maybe they should see if things could work. A romantic relationship could be the one thing that really brings this show together. Of course, the same could be said for not becoming a couple. Once their a couple, what else can happen on the show? It is almost as if they will be at a stalemate. Becoming a couple is almost the end of the whole courtship or not-courtship, depending how how you look at their relationship.

At the end of the day, I love the spiciness between them. I look forward to their arguing, her hidden smiles, and his joking demeanor. Yes, we love the story line behind them, but I must confess that I come back week after week for Tony and Ziva. They create a story I love and can't help but keep watching. As to whether they should let romance happen, that's a question for "NCIS" fans!

Do you think Tony and Ziva should fall in love?
