Blue Ivy Carter made her public debut Saturday!

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z took their seven-week-old daughter to lunch at Sant Ambroeus in New York City's West Village. The "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)" singer, 30, held her newborn close in a baby blue BabyBjorn.

On Monday, the hip-hop power couple attended the New Jersey Nets vs. New York Knicks basketball game at Madison Square Garden. Knowles has made few public appearances since giving birth January 7, save for her husband's special Carnegie Hall performance on February 6.

Knowles and her husband (real name: Shawn Carter) even skipped the 54th Annual Grammy Award for an intimate pizza date at Lucali in Brooklyn. "They were just like a regular couple," a witness told Us Weekly. ""hey were sitting in front of the place closer to where they make the pizza."

The fellow diner even congratulated Jay-Z, 42, on becoming a father. "He said, 'Thank you,' shook our hands, and said 'Have a good night.'"

Since becoming parents, Knowles has been holed up in the couple's Scarsdale, New York mansion and $6.85 million Tribeca loft nursing her daughter. "She has been totally doting on Blue," a source close to Knowles told Us. "She's up whenever the baby's up!"

I cant beleive how childish some of you are!! She had the baby covered like any normal parent would in the eyes of the media.. No one had any of this to say when Tom and Katie hid their child!! You have no proof that it was a surrogate, so just stop hating!!

  Actually, I do recall some very ugly statements being made about Suri Cruise because her parents did not release photos of her right away. The ugliest statement was that she had some sort of deformity. Yet, when her photos were released some people said she was wearing a baby wig!!
  
  As for Bey and Jay, there will always be haters so it is up to the rest of us to just be happy for them and to congratulate them!!

Ok....REALLY?!?!?!? These people had a baby, (very happy for them) however, the fact that people are tripping over this baby like this is INSANE!!!!! I even read on here somebody said if she really had the baby she should show it or something. If there were crazy people swarming around to take photos everytime i stepped out the house i probably wouldnt bring my child out either. Privacy.....even though they are celebrities some of them still like PRIVACY, and there is nothing wrong with that. At the end of the day there is a baby that has been added to this family and it is a blessing from GOD, stop tripping, they are not the first celebrities to have a baby and they won't be the last. #some people just do too much#

Whether they had a surrogate or not, so what? Other celebrities and regular people have surrogates. I think it may be a little premature to be back at work so soon. She is schedule to begin touring in May; just my opinion. The baby is a blessing and they both seem extremely happy.

I have to say that it should not matter if they had a surrogate or not. Giving birth to a baby does not make you a "real parent". Unconditional love, support, understanding, honesty, and always being there, and protecting the child.....that's what makes you a parent. I wish them the best, and I hope their daughter is happy and healthy. :) And yes, if I were in her shoes I would have covered my daughter's face from the paparazzi.

I;m not understanding how so many peoples can say anything bad! No matter what you maybe thinking a child is a blessing from God. When I start showing with my son I was six months, and the last three months is when I pickup my weight. I feel if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything.

Who cares if she gave birth...didn't give birth....I gave birth to one of my three...but I still consider all of them mine....and I feel as though I CARRIED ALL THREE OF MY CHILDREN IF NOT IN MY WOMB, THEN IN MY HEART....give it a rest people....get a life already
