    Pilot Season: CBS Orders Medical Drama from Lie to Me Creator

    The country's top doc is getting a closer examination.

    CBS has ordered the drama pilot The Surgeon General from Lie to Me creator Samuel Baum.

    Baum wrote and will executive-produce the medical show, about America's doctor, the Surgeon General of the United States.

    Before Lie to Me, Baum co-created the short-lived 2006 ABC detective series The Evidence.
