Dylan McDermott has joined the cast of CBS' political thriller Hostages, TVGuide.com has learned.
McDermott will play Duncan, a righteous FBI agent who is at the center of a political conspiracy involving the President. The project also stars Toni Collette as the leader of a family that is forever changed after being caught up in the conspiracy.

McDermott, who recently played the son of serial killer Bloody Face on American Horror Story: Asylum, has previously starred on The Practice and Dark Blue.
Based on the Israeli format, the pilot is written and executive-produced by Jeffrey Nachmanoff (The Day After Tomorrow), with Jerry Bruckheimer also among the executive produce.
