    Pregnant Claire Danes Jokes: I Already Know My Baby's Sex Because I Have "No Patience"

    Some parents-to-be love the thought of being surprised when they welcome a baby boy or baby girl nine months down the road. Claire Danes, however, isn't one of those people.

    During her appearance on Anderson Cooper's show Thursday, Danes, 33, confessed she just couldn't wait to find out her baby's sex. The reason? She has "no patience."

    Still, she and husband Hugh Dancy -- whom she wed in 2009 -- are determined to keep what the doctor told them a secret from the rest of the world.

    Explained the Homeland star, "It's important to keep a little something to ourselves because we are so public."

    In general, Danes revealed that she can't wait to become a mom -- even as she admitted she's not totally sure what to expect when her bundle of joy arrives.

    "We are very excited [for parenthood]," Danes said, adding that she knows the new addition to her family will have a "profound change" on their lives. "We are going to love this person, I know that."
