'Pretty Little Liars': Season 3 Premiere Episode Title Revealed - What Clues Can We Draw from It?

June cannot come fast enough for "Pretty Little Liars" fans! In the finale of Season 2, many questions were left hanging. Now, show producer Marlene King has released an interesting new snippet about the Season 3 premiere! King revealed that the first episode will be called "It Happened That Night" and is a look back at what happened the night the girls discovered the truth about "A." It will also include a tie-in to the "Pretty Little Liars" pilot episode. So, what exactly could this episode title mean? Here are a few ideas.

    Is Maya actually alive?

When Marlene King explained a little about the title she said that, in part, it refers to Maya's "alleged" death. Her use of the word "alleged" suggests that Emily's (Shay Mitchell) girlfriend might not really be dead. The Season 3 premiere could hold some clues that Maya is really alive and well, which would be a huge and unexpected twist. The look of devastation on Emily's face when Maya's body was wheeled away in front of her is impossible to forget, so it would be fascinating if it turned out that it was someone else. Of course, that would lead to a whole new mystery!

Why did Ali sneak out of the barn?

In the pilot episode of the show, we saw the pretty little liars having a sleepover in Spencer's (Troian Bellisario) barn. At some point during the night, Ali (Sasha Pieterse) crept out and was killed. We know that she met Toby (Keegan Allen) and Ian (Ryan Merriman) before her death, but it's still unclear exactly what prompted her to leave the party. Perhaps "It Happened That Night," is going to give us a solid reason for Ali to leave her friends in the middle of the night. This has been one of the biggest mysteries of the series that may have been buried under all of the other drama.

    The Black Swan

Mona (Janel Parrish) made a big deal of mentioning the Black Swan at the Masquerade Ball, and the girls tried hard to find out who she was. Unfortunately, she was shrouded in mystery, but was spotted talking to Jenna (Tammin Sursok) and Lucas (Brendan Robinson). Obviously, the fact that this stranger knows a bunch of people who hated Ali the most is a sign that she is bad news. The fans are desperate to hear more about her, and try to work out who she is and how she is involved with Mona.
