Christmas comes early for Psych fans. USA has renewed the series for an eighth season.
"What better holiday present to give our fans than to announce #Psych has been picked up for an 8th season! Happy holidays!" the network tweeted Wednesday from the show's Twitter account.

Psych is USA's longest-running series and will celebrate its 100th episode during the upcoming seventh season. It will also feature a two-hour musical episode as well as a wedding for one of its characters.
Psych returns Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 10/9c on USA.
