Fox’s Stars in Danger is probably in no danger of coming back. Stars in Danger hit shallow water. Stars in Danger… well, it did not draw many lookie-loos on Wednesday night, delivering just 3.37 million total viewers while netting a 1.3 demo rating.
That landed the special in fourth place each hour, besting only CW repeats.
ABC’s Modern Family dominated the night with 12 million viewers and a 4.7 rating (up 12 percent from its last fresh outing). Similarly, ABC’s other sitcoms all rose in the demo from season-low previous outings: The Middle (8.5 mil/2.4, up 14 percent); The Neighbors (6.63 mil/2.0, up 25 percent); and Suburgatory (7 mil/2.7, up 23 percent).
A rousing, super-sudsy Nashville capped the Alphabet net’s night with 5.8 mil and a 2.0 rating, ticking up a tenth yet placing third in the hour. (Scarlett, what got into you?! I like.)
