It was the best of the Battle Rounds and the worst of the “Steals.” With apologies to Dickens, that pretty much sums up last week’s activity on The Voice.

But our commentary isn’t all sunshine and glory notes. Melinda and I are both concerned that the coaches aren’t using their Steals to correct injustices, but instead doling them out in casual and capricious ways. It’s enough to make a commentator want to rewrite The Bible or at least shout out accusations of ageism. (C’mon, that’s the only reason Donna Allen’s not in the Knockout Rounds, right?)
