Lohan was transported to the emergency room, though not by an ambulance. Preliminary reports said that she was in the emergency room undergoing tests by doctors, but she seemed OK. Lohan and an assistant who was a passenger in her car had no serious injuries and were later released from the hospital, after which the 25-year-old actress returned to the set of her Lifetime made-for-TV movie in which she plays Elizabeth Taylor.

Calls and emails to Lohan's rep were not immediately returned.
